Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to reflect on the legacies that shape our communities and our teams.
The 2025 theme, “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future”, captures exactly what drives us at UG2: learning from those who came before us while empowering the next generation to lead and innovate.
We bring the theme to life as we:
- Honor the past by learning from the practices, values, and stories that shape our team and our industry.
- Inspire the future by mentoring, teaching, and creating opportunities for our people to thrive.
- Embrace continuous improvement by respecting tradition while also setting a new standard for excellence in facility services.
We are thrilled to have Hispanic Heritage Month as an opportunity to celebrate our Hispanic and Latino colleagues while also reaffirming our commitment to building a workplace where all voices are heard and every employee has the opportunity to shape UG2’s future.
This month is also a chance to recognize the generosity of our UG2 leadership and employees. Their year-round philanthropic efforts support our communities in numerous ways, including supporting civic and business education and English-as-a-second-language classes that help community members expand their opportunities and achieve their goals.
At UG2, just like in our communities, it’s our rich cultural traditions that ground us. And it’s the infusion of new ideas from younger generations that will guide us into the future.
As always, one of the most meaningful parts of Hispanic Heritage Month is shining a spotlight on the incredible members of our UG2 family of Hispanic and Latino heritage. Their perspectives and accomplishments enrich our culture and remind us that diversity is one of our greatest strengths.
