Pioneers of Change: Innovating and Representing Hispanic Excellence

As industry leaders who are continuously advancing the field of facility services, we at UG2 speak often about the incomparable contributions of our diverse teams. We celebrate the ways that our employees’ range of ethnicities, backgrounds, languages, and identities create a rich and robust culture and a breadth of expertise that pushes us to continuously raise the bar for excellence and innovation.

As we enter National Hispanic Heritage Month this year, we are shining a light on some of those UG2 employees of Hispanic and/or Latino descent and sharing their wisdom with the theme Pioneers of Change — Innovating and Representing Hispanic Excellence. We reached out to employees who were nominated by their supervisors, and then invited to answer questions on a range of topics. You will see these individuals — and their answers — highlighted on our social media channels throughout the next month as they share their thoughts on topics from examples of the pioneers who’ve inspired them to the sayings that ground them to the Hispanic leaders who are driving positive change.

We also want to note that, thanks in large part to the leadership and generosity of our employees, UG2’s philanthropic efforts support organizations that help our communities with resources such as English-as-a-second-language classes along with civic and business education.

We are tremendously proud to nurture a culture of excellence across all our teams at UG2, through best-in-class training, professional development and leadership opportunities, and an emphasis on promoting from within. We look forward to providing just a glimpse of that excellence throughout National Hispanic Heritage Month.
