UG2 Honors Our First Graduates of the BOMA Boston Women’s Leadership Initiative
At UG2, developing future leaders is more than a business strategy—it’s a reflection of our core values. Our people are our most valuable asset, and investing in their growth is essential to delivering exceptional service and driving our industry forward.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to celebrate two of our own, Ana Figueroa, UG2 Account Manager, and Stefhania Agudelo, UG2 Senior Operations Support Associate, graduates of the inaugural class of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Boston Women’s Leadership Initiative Program.
This achievement is more than a milestone—it’s a powerful reflection of Ana and Stefhania’s commitment to growth and excellence.
“I learned to communicate with more clarity and impact and built strong relationships with other women in the industry,” says Ana. “These new perspectives and tools help me serve my team and our customers with even greater excellence.”
Empowering Personal & Professional Success
The Women’s Leadership Initiative is focused on four key pillars: Empowerment, Growth, Education, and Networking. Over the course of the year, selected members from BOMA Boston participated in four curated workshops, virtual learning sessions, and informal events—all designed to build confidence, leadership skills, and strong connections within the commercial real estate and facilities management community.
Participants committed to monthly programming that encouraged deep reflection and bold action—skills that Ana and Stefhania now carry into their roles at UG2 each day.
“For me, it was Empowerment that made the biggest difference,” says Stefhania. “Being part of a program that believed in my leadership potential helped me believe in it, too. That confidence translates directly into how I support our teams and clients—by listening actively and leading by example.”
BOMA Boston is the third largest of BOMA’s 88 affiliates, representing more than 700 members and over 200 million square feet of commercial real estate in Greater Boston. Its diverse network of clients and affiliates creates a powerful ecosystem for exchanging ideas and uncovering valuable insights.
Why It Matters: Investing in People
UG2 is proud to sponsor participation in programs like the Women’s Leadership Initiative because they align directly with our core values. We strive to elevate our people and our industry by fostering leadership at every level. We know that when our team members feel empowered, valued, and prepared, they show up stronger for our clients, their colleagues, and themselves.
“Ana and Stefhania’s participation in this program speak volumes about their drive and character,” says Lauren Lanzillo, UG2 Vice President of Culture & Community. “We’re incredibly proud to support their journey and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.”
Looking Ahead
As graduates of this first cohort, Ana and Stefhania now serve as role models and trailblazers—not only within UG2, but across the broader BOMA Boston community. Their success reminds us that nurturing talent is critical to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in facility services.
Congratulations, Ana and Stefhania! Your achievements inspire us all. We’re honored to be part of your leadership journey and look forward to seeing how you continue to make an impact.
UG2 is proud to be a perennial platinum sponsor of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) and Industry Awards for BOMA Boston.
